Last Sunday was Father’s Day. If your father makes sacrifices and expends himself and his time to care for you and provide for you, whether he is a “steel town disciple” or a “spreadsheet jockey“, he is a working class man and is someone to give thanks to and to give thanks for.
Consider also, that another father, has sacrificed and expended himself, not just to care for you but provide you life. He is someone to give thanks for and especially to give thanks TO.
“whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” ~ Colossians 3:17
