There are often situations in which we have to make decisions with less than perfect knowledge or foreknowledge. We want to know what God knows so we don’t make mistakes. But God is not obligated to tell us all he knows. We have the principles in Scripture to make informed decisions in keeping with God’s character but we are too lazy to work through these. We have freedom to make mistakes in these areas. Mistakes are not automatically sins. They may well be learning opportunities through which God increases our faith.
